Meet the Artist: Susan Fortucci.
A sewist all my life, I began sewing clothes on my grandmother's Singer treadle sewing machine.
My professional sewing began while living aboard our sailboat with my husband cruising the East Coast & the Bahamas.
He worked in boat yards and I sewed in sail lofts and canvas shops. We eventually landed on the Eastern Shore and over 20 years ago
I started a fabrication workroom, where I sew window treatments and soft furnishings for Interior Designers.
